SOCIAL PROTECTION MINISTER Leo Varadkar is launching a new ad campaign to encourage members of the public to report social welfare fraudsters.

Last year, concerned citizens made 19,000 reports to the department.

It’s estimated that last year suspected fraud overpayments of Jobseeker’s Allowance cost €14 million.

Today, we want to know what you would do if you became aware of social welfare fraud. Would you report it?
