Police have raided a West Auckland property in relation to the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old woman in Pakuranga, east Auckland.
The Armed Offenders Squad stormed the property on Harbour View Rd on the Te Atatu Peninsula on Tuesday afternoon as part of an investigation into the shooting of Chozyn Koroheke.
AOS cleared the address and three people were helping police with their inquiries, Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin Tiernan said.
The man police are hunting for, Koroheke’s boyfriend Turiarangi Tai, was not at the property.

Police believe Tai 22, was involved in the shooting and had not been able to locate him.
Tiernan said Tai was not at the address and police were still looking for him.
Tai’s mother Susan on Monday made a plea for her son to come forward.
In a video released on Counties Manukau police’s Facebook page she offered him her help.
“If you need my help I’ll be with you every step of the way. If you need me to come with you to the police station I’ll come with you,” she said.
