A Lower Hutt neighbourhood shop leased by outdoor chain Hunting & Fishing is on the market.
The building on the corner of Cuba and Valentine streets sits on 1295 square metres of commercially-zoned freehold land with a combined rateable valuation of $1.4 million.
Hunting & Fishing’s six-year lease expires in 2020 with a further four-year right of renewal.
The company pays a gross rental of $110,058 a plus GST a year.

The first Hunting & Fishing store in New Zealand opened in Palmerston North in 1986.
The chain has 37 shops nationwide with the Lower Hutt store operating from its Alicetown site the mid-1990s.
Cuba St is the main arterial route linking Lower Hutt with Petone.
The property will be auctioned on May 18.
Bayleys’ commercial salesman Mark Sherlock said the the 1970s building was well known locally due to its high profile and long-standing tenant.
The interior had recently been renovated to increase the ceiling height.
A mezzanine floor is used for office, storage and staff facilities. There is off-street parking at the rear of the building.
