Four people, including two children, have been injured after two car crashes in south Auckland on Friday.
The drivers of both vehicles responsible for the crashes were still at large, police confirmed.
One crash was a hit-and-run, where a 10-year-old boy and 13-year-old suffered minor injuries after being struck by a car on Artillery Rd, Papakura, at 5.40pm.
They were treated at the scene by ambulance staff, a police spokeswoman said.

“The driver did not stop at the scene and no registration number was obtained,” she said.
“We’re not even sure if the driver realised they hit the kids.”
She urged anyone who had witnessed the crash and could help identify the vehicle to call the police.
The other accident happened at 4.45pm, when a stolen vehicle fled police and crashed into another vehicle on Russell Rd, Manurewa.
The police spokesperson said a female passenger from the fleeing car was seriously injured and the male driver from the other vehicle vehicle had moderate to serious injuries.
“Both have been transported to hospital”, she said.
The driver of the stolen car fled on foot.
Russell Road was closed while police investigated the scene.
Witnesses of the first crash, or anyone who knows anything about the driver of the stolen car should call police on 09 261 1300, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
