Two teenagers’ love of sugar has proved to be not so sweet for a Greytown lolly store.
The teens, aged 14 and 15, were caught after twice breaking into Greytown’s boutique Lolly Jar shop.
They took no cash, but came away with more than $500 worth of sweets.
The first break in, on April 14, netted the pair $182 worth of lollies. The second, two days later, cost the store $326.
